1. Platform Description

RntNgo LLC is a technology platform only. RntNgo is not a rental company and does not own, possess, control, or supply any items listed. RntNgo is not a party to any rental agreement between Owners and Renters. Your relationship with RntNgo is that of an independent user — not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of RntNgo. Owners alone decide whether, when, at what price, and on what terms to list their items.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use this platform.

3. Owner Responsibilities

By listing any item, you represent that you are the lawful owner, the item is safe and accurately described, and renting it does not violate any law. You assume ALL risk associated with listing and renting your item including theft, loss, damage, injury, and non-return. You further represent and warrant that each item is in good working condition, has been adequately maintained, is unaltered, and that no safety device original to the item has been disabled, modified, or removed.

4. Renter Responsibilities

By renting any item, you represent that you are legally permitted to operate it, you will use it safely and lawfully, and you will return it in the same condition. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH RENTING AND USING ANY ITEM. You are responsible for inspecting items before use. You represent and warrant that you have adequate knowledge and experience to operate each item competently and safely, that you will use all appropriate safety equipment (such as eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, proper footwear, and life preservers) suited to the item, that you will use each item only for its intended purpose, and that you will not modify any item.

5. COMPREHENSIVE DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RNTNGO MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT ANY ITEM IS SAFE, FUNCTIONAL, LEGAL, OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE. RENTERS USE ALL ITEMS ENTIRELY AT THEIR OWN RISK.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RNTNGO LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY ITEM RENTED THROUGH IT. RNTNGO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.00.

7. COMPLETE RELEASE

YOU HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS RNTNGO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY ITEM RENTED THROUGH IT. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS WAIVE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE SECTION 1542.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RntNgo LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your listings or rentals, your violation of these Terms, or any injury or damage caused by your actions.

9. Payments, Fees & Taxes

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. RntNgo charges a service fee and other applicable fees, disclosed before booking; fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. You are responsible for all taxes arising from your listings or rentals. Where RntNgo is required to act as a marketplace facilitator, RntNgo may calculate, collect, and remit applicable sales or other taxes on your behalf, and may report tax information or withhold amounts from payouts as required by law. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy.

10. Damage, Loss, Destruction & Non-Return

Owners list items at their own risk and accept the possibility of damage, loss, theft, destruction, or non-return by the Renter. The optional security deposit collected at booking is the SOLE platform-facilitated remedy: it is held by Stripe, refunded to the Renter only when the Owner confirms receipt in good condition, and may be retained by the Owner if the Renter agrees to a deduction. RntNgo does NOT assess fault, evaluate damage, judge condition, arbitrate disagreements, recover items, or compensate either party for any loss. For damage exceeding the deposit, total destruction, or non-return, the Owner's recourse is direct civil action against the Renter (e.g. small-claims court) and/or insurance. Owners are responsible for documenting condition before and after each rental. RntNgo will not produce records, testify, or otherwise become involved in any user-to-user claim.

11. Disputes Between Users — RntNgo Will Not Mediate

RntNgo is not a party to any rental agreement and will NOT mediate, arbitrate, investigate, or take sides in any dispute between Owners and Renters. This includes but is not limited to disputes over condition, damage, fees, deposits, returns, scheduling, fitness for purpose, or quality of communication. Each user agrees to resolve disputes directly with the other party and to seek any external remedy (insurance, civil court, law enforcement) without involving RntNgo. RntNgo's sole role in any user dispute is to provide each user with their own transactional records on lawful request (subpoena, court order). Any contact made to RntNgo support regarding a user-to-user dispute will be acknowledged but no mediation will be performed.

12. Insurance

Both Owners and Renters are solely responsible for obtaining any insurance coverage they deem appropriate. RntNgo does not provide, arrange, broker, recommend, or guarantee any insurance coverage. Most homeowner, renter, and business insurance policies EXCLUDE peer-to-peer rental activity — verify coverage with your insurer before listing or renting valuable items.

13. Identity Verification

RntNgo uses Stripe Identity to verify Renters' government-issued ID before booking. This verification does not constitute an endorsement, background check, or guarantee of any user's conduct. Owners remain solely responsible for evaluating each Renter and rental.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes between a user and RntNgo (separate from user-to-user disputes, which RntNgo is not a party to) shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, except as otherwise provided in the arbitration section below.

15. Acceptable Use & Platform Rules

You agree to use RntNgo only as permitted by these Terms and applicable law, and not to help or induce anyone to break these rules. You will NOT: (a) request, make, or accept any booking or payment outside the RntNgo platform, or otherwise circumvent or attempt to avoid RntNgo's fees, for any reason; (b) use any bot, scraper, crawler, or automated means to access or collect data from the platform; (c) hack, reverse-engineer, bypass security measures, or take any action that impairs the platform; (d) misrepresent yourself or others, or harass, discriminate against, or deceive any user; (e) use another user's personal information except as needed to complete a transaction on the platform, or send unsolicited commercial messages; (f) manipulate search results or reviews; or (g) use RntNgo's name, logo, branding, or any confusingly similar identifier without written permission. Transacting off-platform waives every platform protection, including the security-deposit mechanism and identity verification, and may result in account termination.

16. Prohibited Items

RntNgo may prohibit or remove any listing at any time in its sole discretion. The following may NOT be listed: (a) anything illegal to rent, lease, or possess where it will be used; (b) firearms, weapons, or ammunition of any kind; (c) explosives, fireworks, pyrotechnics, or other inherently dangerous goods; (d) on-road motor vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, and SUVs (trailers, towable and outdoor equipment, and generators ARE permitted); (e) aircraft, rockets, or launch equipment; (f) sexually explicit items; (g) drug paraphernalia or controlled substances; (h) real property such as homes, apartments, or rooms; and (i) any item you do not lawfully own or have the right to rent. Listing a prohibited item may result in immediate removal and account termination.

17. Content License

When you provide photos, descriptions, reviews, messages, or other content ("Content"), you grant RntNgo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, store, copy, modify, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works from that Content to operate, improve, and promote the platform — including on the website, in search results, on Owner storefronts, and in marketing on social media and other channels. You represent that you own or are authorized to grant these rights and that your Content infringes no third party's rights. You are solely responsible for your Content, and RntNgo may (but need not) remove Content that violates these Terms.

18. Account Suspension & Termination

RntNgo may suspend or limit your access, remove any listing, review, or Content, cancel pending or confirmed bookings, or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, violate any law or third-party right, repeatedly receive poor reviews or complaints, repeatedly cancel or fail to honor bookings, or where necessary to protect the safety or property of RntNgo, its users, or third parties. Where appropriate and lawful, we will give notice and a chance to cure non-material violations. On termination or suspension, confirmed bookings may be cancelled (Renter refunds follow the applicable cancellation policy), you are not entitled to restoration of your account or Content, and you may not open a new account or use another user's account to access the platform.

19. Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY — THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. You and RntNgo agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the platform or these Terms (other than small-claims matters, and other than user-to-user disputes, to which RntNgo is not a party) will be resolved by FINAL AND BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section, and arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. YOU AND RNTNGO WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may award only individual relief. If this class-action waiver is held unenforceable, the rest of this section still applies but any class or representative claim must proceed in court. Nothing here prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small-claims court.

20. Force Majeure

RntNgo is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, power or telecommunications failures, or internet or third-party service outages.

21. Assignment, Waiver & Third Parties

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without RntNgo's prior written consent, and any attempt to do so is void; RntNgo may assign these Terms freely. RntNgo's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of its right to enforce it later. These Terms create no rights in any third party.

22. Notices

RntNgo may give you notice by email to the address on your account or by posting on the platform; such notice is effective when sent or posted, and you are responsible for keeping your email current. Notices to RntNgo must be sent to contact@rntngo.com.

23. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions stay in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any cancellation or other policy referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and RntNgo regarding the platform and supersede any prior agreements on the subject.

24. Changes to Terms

RntNgo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
