RntNgo LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates rntngo.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information You Provide

We collect information you give us directly: email address (for sign-in), full name and username (during onboarding), listing content (photos, descriptions, location, pricing), messages you send to other users, and identity verification data (which is processed by Stripe Identity — we never store ID photos on our servers).

3. Information We Collect Automatically

We collect basic analytics (page views, device type, approximate location from IP) and crash reports via Sentry. We set session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

4. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details. Stripe retains this information under its own privacy policy. We only store the Stripe payment intent ID and the amounts of each rental for bookkeeping.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) operate the platform and facilitate rentals, (b) send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, password-free sign-in links), (c) verify identity as required by payment processing partners, (d) detect fraud and enforce our Terms, and (e) debug and improve the service. We do not sell your information.

6. Who We Share With

We share information with: Stripe (for payments and identity verification), Supabase (our database and authentication provider), Resend (transactional email delivery), Netlify (our hosting provider), and Sentry (crash reporting). Each of these processors has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.

7. Other Users

When you rent or list an item, we share your full name, rating, and the messages you send with the other party to that transaction. We do not share your email address with other users.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, listings, and messages within 30 days. Rental records and payment records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes, as required by law.

9. Your Rights

You can update your profile information at any time from the Profile page. You can delete your account by contacting contact@rntngo.com. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights to access, correct, port, or delete your data — email us to exercise them.

10. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are never stored — we use email-based magic-link sign-in only. We cannot guarantee perfect security, but we apply reasonable safeguards.

11. Children

RntNgo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact contact@rntngo.com so we can remove it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of RntNgo after a change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
